Nicole Dane – Founder & Visionary
Bharatvaas Travels was born from my deep love for India and its vibrant cultures, as well as my desire to make a positive impact through travel. The experiences I’ve had with the people and places in India inspired me to create this company, which not only offers extraordinary trips but also actively contributes to the communities we engage with. I seek out unique hotels and guesthouses in lesser-known destinations, where accommodations are not just beautiful but play an active role in supporting local communities — whether through sustainable tourism, education, or cultural preservation.
For me, it’s more than just travel. It’s about sharing the beauty of India with the world while supporting initiatives that fight poverty and help protect ancient crafts, music, and traditions that are at risk of being lost. While I know I can’t change the world alone, every small step counts, and that’s what drives me to continue the work I do. As part of our commitment, 5% of our profits go directly to local NGOs and community projects, ensuring that our business has a lasting positive impact.
As I live in India, I am always available to support our guests in their own language. I speak English, French, and Dutch, so whether your clients are English, French, or Dutch speakers, I am here to ensure that their experience is comfortable, clear, and personalized.
